Kiowa Labor Day 5K

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are gearing up for our annual Kiowa Labor Day 5K event and have some EXCITING news to share about a few changes we are implementing this year!

In order to be more efficient, we have decided to offer ONLINE REGISTRATION! That's right! You can register for the race without having to send a form or a check in the mail. Just click this link above to register online. We understand that not everyone will want to use a credit card for payment, so you will still be able to register online and pay with a check or cash if you choose. Please keep in mind that you will need to have paid before you are able to pick up your race day packet on Saturday, September 2nd from 9am-Noon at the community building or on the morning of race day. Traditional registration forms will also be available to download and print, please see the option at the top of the page for the link to print. 

Additionally, we are excited to be using CHIPPED BIBS for more accurate timing. Your race bib will have a sticker with a chip that will provide an exact finish time. This year we are partnering with Heartland Racing, who will be helping with the electronic timing. In the future, we hope to use our own electronic timing system. You will also notice a slight increase in our race fee. This increase is to cover expenses for the chipped bibs and timing assistance. We feel that even with the increase, our fee is extremely reasonable!

Lastly, we are adding a VIRTUAL 5K option for those who love to participate in our event but are unable to be physically present in Kiowa on Labor Day morning! Just choose the VIRTUAL 5K option when you register. This is also a great option for those who are signing up just for the shirt.
